I am a fingerstyle guitar player living in Hamden, in southern Connecticut. I play instrumental, acoustic music. I play mainly blues and ragtime and my influences range from the blues greats of the 1920s and 1930s to Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Jerry Reed (you can listen to some of my pieces here).
I've performed at international, national, and regional festivals, on live radio, and television.
I am also a professor of law at Quinnipiac University School of Law and, in addition to my law-related publications, I have written a number of articles on guitars, lutherie, and music.
Oh, and a drum roll, please. I'm listed in Who's Who as a "ragtime guitarist!"
I'm also Field Editor editor and frequent contributor to my favorite magazine,Fretboard Journal.
